Enrichment:
• For the most advanced students who would like to take
the lesson even further, I will encourage them to gauge how
the phenomena of the Coriolis effect contributes to storm surge
during hurricanes.
Remediation:
• For students who need more assistance, I will practice repetition
and repeating the content in a different way to reach them, such
as pictures.
Step-by-Step Procedure:
1. Fill a clear, labelless bottle 1/3 of the way with clean water.
2. Add food coloring and shake well.
3. Add sand, shells, and glitter to the bottle
4. Fill the rest of the way with mineral oil or baby oil
5. Make sure the lid is on and secured
6. Tilt and enjoy
