• Assessment(s) at the end of the lesson: At the end of the lesson, students will be assessed on different types of mixtures
and if they understand the difference between a colloid and a suspension, as well as an acid or base. I will assess their knowl-
edge using an informal exit ticket.
• Post-Assessment for the unit: At the very end of this unit, students will be given a Formative Assessment to evaluate how
they are able to apply the knowledge gained about different types of mixtures and colloids versus suspensions, as well as
some integrated acid and base questions regarding pH.
