Newton's Laws Stations Activity

Materials:
• Student Desk
• 5 Marbles
Step-by-Step Procedure:
1. Set up the marbles in the pencil tray of your desk with four touching each other in the center of the trough, with another
ready to roll into the four. (See picture below.)
2. Form a hypothesis about what you think will happen when you roll the one marble into the four.

3. Now set up three adjacent marbles near the center of the trough and predict what will happen when you roll
two against them.
